Best At Home Teeth Whitener Reviews
I created this page to rate and review various teeth whitening products. I learned that many whiteners (if you could even call them that) are just gimmicks. However, some teeth whitening products do work. The problem is looking past the marketing to find out which ones do and which don't.

Review Guide Overview:
A few months ago, I was where you are now when I first heard about all the new teeth whitening methods through my fashion magazines and on TV commercials. I wish somebody made this site back then, so I could have saved myself some money and found the teeth whitener that works. I was surprised to learn that popular over the counter products like Crest Whitestrips are a waste of money. But it makes sense. The most hyped brands produce minimal results so that people have to keep spending money. All in all, I think it was worth it, as I now know first hand what WORKS and what DOESN'T, and if you're like me, you wouldn't mind doing some research to find that one product that can dramatically enhance your smile, confidence, and overall appearance.
I honestly never thought that making my teeth white would make much of difference, but it is astounding. I always had some slight discoloration (I'm addicted to coffee) but nothing too serious. But now, after several months, I get at least 2 compliments a day about my "beautiful" or even "sexy" smile. Anyway, I listed my recommendations in order of best to worst.

Bridal Beauty White
is the by far the most effective teeth whitener. It made me feel like a celebrity after I looked at my smile in the mirror.
Results: I moved up 8 shades. This was on par with dental whitening. The difference with this teeth whitener is that you get both short-term and long-term whitening as it works with both the inner and outer enamel.
Strength: The product contains 35% carbomide peroxide (Dentist Strength) unlike most drugstore whiteners which only has 12-20% carbamide / hydrogen peroxide.
Sensitivity: I had no sensitivity using the product.
Ease of Use: Bridal Beauty White is applied using a pen brush release, similar to painting your teeth. It only takes 2 minutes per treatment and its not messy.
Conclusion: Effective, easy and affordable. Bridal Beauty White was by the #1 teeth whitener I used.

Insider Tip: I was emailed a "10% off thank you coupon" after I made my first purchase. I've since used this coupon to save on every order and it's still active. Type in the coupon code "loyalty10" on the discount coupon section when you checkout, and you'll get the discount even if you're not a new customer. |

Professional Dental Whitening works, but is expensive.
Results: I moved up 6 shades. Very good results.
Strength: The strongest teeth whitening available.
Sensitivity: My gums were sore for a few and I felt like I had a slight toothache all over my teeth.
Ease of Use: It took my dentist a single one hour appointment. The most tedious part of the process was filling out all the paperwork and checking to see if my insurance covered it. (It doesn't since it was a cosmetic procedure.) My diet was also limited to not include artifically flavored food for 2 weeks.
Conclusion: Professional dental strength whitening definitely works. However, it caused me sensitivity. Also, it costs about $600 dollars! This is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. However, if other teeth whiteners haven't worked for you yet, and you really want white teeth, give it a try.

Brite Smile works fine, but for the same price, you could get professional teeth whitening.
Results: 4 shades whiter. Not bad.
Strength: N/A but it whitened 4 shades.
Sensitivity: My gums were extremely sore!
Ease of Use: Unfortunately, I had to reschedule my appointment 2 times. They are also only available in large U.S cities so they might be hard to find if you're from the suburbs or another country. The total treatment took 1.5 hours (not 1 hour as advertised.)
Conclusion: Not bad, but for the same price you can get dental whitening that works better, faster and causes less sensitivity. However, it did work so I'm giving it 3 stars.

Aquafresh white trays use a mouthpiece to whiten your teeth.
Results: 2 shades whiter. There's better products out there.
Strength: 10% hydrogen peroxide. (Low strength.)
Sensitivity: No sensitivity.
Ease of Use: The trays were too small for my teeth. They do not form around the teeth properly. They are made out of a thin, flimsy plastic with a little strip of whitening gel piped in each one. Once you put the trays in, you have to press on them to spread the gel out over your teeth. I find that within a few minutes, the gel starts squishing out the sides of the trays and into my mouth, which results in semi-firm, slimy little globs of gel swishing around that create an excess of saliva.
Conclusion: This was the first product I ever tried and I never finished using it because it just wasn't designed well. I really don't recommend it but I will give it at least 2 stars since it did slightly whitening my smile.

Crest Renewal (Age Defying Strips) is one in the long line of Crest's family of teeth whitening strips.
Results: 2 shades whiter. However, they rapidly wore off. But it makes sense. The most well marketed brands produce minimal results so that you the consumer have to keep spending money.
Strength: 15% hydrogen peroxide. (Low strength.)
Sensitivity: Way too much sensitivity for my teeth!
Ease of Use: The strips have to be used twice a day for 30 minutes, for two weeks. The strips are also too slippery.
Conclusion: This was the second teeth whitening product I tried and I never finished using it either. I really don't recommend and give it my lowest rating of 1 star.

Closing Words:
For people who want to look healthy and younger, a natural white smile is a must!
Think about it, the people who get noticed are the people who light up a room with their smile. Because I know what works and what doesn't, I decided I should spread that information around. As
I said before, I completely recommend Bridal Beauty White,
it's an effective Teeth Whitener that simply works the best. Professional Whitening
is also recommended, but it's pricier and costs more time and therefore is not for everybody. Bridal Beauty White comes with a 30-day guarantee, so your smartest move might be to try it BEFORE spending over $600 dollars at the dentist.
